Personal trainers often complain to me that their clients are ‘training too much’ and therefore not getting results. But is this really the case?
In my experience, women typically don’t overtrain. Sure some may do double-day training, or exercise at high volumes and intensities, but so too do athletes.
The difference?
Athletes are often well RESTED. They are diligent with their repair and recovery. So it’s less about the amount of exercise that general population women do, and more about the LACK of recovery.
